Monday, February 10th, 2014

Printer 3 (mrt133-1) is now back. The duplexer has been fixed however until we have the duplexer fixed on all 4 we are still not letting people print double sided. Printer 4(mrt133-2) is now over at CTS so the duplexer can be repaired on that one. We will gradually have each printer sent over to fix this problem . Once it is fixed on all 4 of them I will remove the signs and notify everyone that patrons can once again print double sided.

The Printer #3 is still at CTS. The Dell tech is on his way to look at it and to fix the problem with the duplexer. The printer #2 that was having the issue with turning it self off then re-initializing seems to have stopped doing that. It was not determined why it was doing it in the first place nor why it has stopped doing it but it seems to be back to normal.

Printer #3 is at CTS to have the duplexer fixed. Printer #2 is having issues with auto restart. It is printing fine however on the status screen on the printer itself it will go blank and then immediately come on and say “Initializing”. This will also cause it to break connection with the network status page. CTS is aware of this and we are troubleshooting the problem. In the mean time it will continue to print.
