THere have been reports of a new phishing scam going around. An email from a Robert Miller that redirects you to another link asking you to reset your password and other such things.Simply delete the email

Black and white printer #2 is saying it needs a maintenance kit replaced. I have the request in with CTS. This should not affect printing in any way for the time being

CTS is gathering the parts needed to fix the streaking issue on the color printer. They should have everything sometime tomorrow

CTS has corrected the issue in the server and printing can be done from both the Windows side and Mac side. On the Windows side it may take 30 to 40 seconds for the printers to load, this is normal, which should not be an issue except maybe on the Print only stations if someone is in a hurry. They will need to wait a few seconds.

The script for Windows printers is housed on CTS tools shared helios fold on 1 of the 3 helios servers. The server it is on is FULL. So CTS is attempting to move many of the shares on that server to server #3. Once they do that the script will function properly and the printers will load. Until then it is either have people print from Mac or run around installing printers on computers every time someone logs in.

The color Printer is reporting it needs a new Black Drum Cartridge. This is NOT a black toner so do not replace the toner. The Drum Cartridge is on order with CTS

Mac printing is available, however there is still an issue of it randomly not letting people log into the Mac OS. Windows printing script is experiencing an issue so when people log into the Windows OS sometimes the printers are not loading. If that is the case go to the start menu and in the search box at the bottom type in \\lorax2

Once the window opens with all of the printers double click on the one for crbstdnt and when it installs it will pop open an empty print window. Close that out and they are all set. Then do the same for the color printer crbrefcl

I have submitted a ticket with CTS to address the issue of the color printer. Prints are coming out with streaks on them. I have cleaned the printer out of excess toner as much as I can and run 50 pages thru it but it is still doing it. CTS is looking into it.
