There seems to be an issue with logging into the Windows side so people must log into the Mac side. CTS is aware and working on it

I am placing a log sheet on the top of the black cabinet that holds the toners. From this point forward anyone who replaces a toner in one of the printers must fill in the log

As you have probably seen printing from the Mac side is still an issue. CTS is working on this as fast as possible and hopefully it won’t be much longer. In the mean time please continue to direct people to print from the Windows side.

The Drum Cartridges for the student use color printer (crbrefcl) are on their way. According to the shipping info they should be in sometime in the next couple of days. They should still function for a while without issue until the replacements arrive.

***PLEASE NOTE*** The Drum Cartridges are colored, they ARE NOT the same as the toner cartridges so make sure you read any warning messages about replacement very carefully.

A few computers, not all, but specifically the print only station closest to the helpdesk is not allowing printing from the mac side. Windows will allow printing. there is a ticket in with CTS. If you have someone report they cannot print on the mac side tell them to try the Windows side and email me the decal # on the back of the computer.

Printing is temporarily down all over campus. We do not have an estimated time that it will be back up.

There will be a large number of password resets as is always the case with the start of the semester. The most important thing to remember is- the person MUST show you a VALID SUNY Potsdam ID. No other form of identification is acceptable. If they do not have one because they forgot it they will need to come back with it. If they lost it or don’t have one at all they must go to the PACES office on the 1st floor of Merritt Hall and get one.
