This is just an informational posting- If you look on the status pages for printers 1 & 2 you will see that on 1 the imaging unit is low and on 2 the Maintenance kit is low. It is good to pay attention to these things. Like the toner, the status page gives a warning, but until the window on the printer tells you “The imaging unit is nearing end of life replace soon” the parts don’t get changed. Keep an eye on these.

CTS corrected the problem and you can now email scans from the ZETA Scanner

The Zeta scanner has stopped sending email again. It is now posting an error message when attempted. Anyone scanning on the Zeta will need to save to a USB drive until further notice. I am contacting CTS to verify network issues and the company for any possible software/hardware issues

There appears to be an issue with emailing scanned documents directly from the ZETA Scanner. Although it seems like it is working properly, the email does not get delivered. I am working with CTS on this but in the mean time anyone wanting to scan documents will need to save them to a USB drive.

Due to a continuing issue with printing online documents (Documents in moodle, google docs, word docs opened in the online version of word) please have users download the document to the desktop and then open it from there. Once they do that they can print with no problems.

The color printer is displaying that it needs the Cyan Drum Cartridge replaced. I will have replacements within a day or so. Please remember the color Drum Cartridges are NOT the same as the color toner cartridges so don’t replace those unless it says toner.

Priinting went down last night. As of 8am this morning it is still down. No time estimate on when it will be fixed, CTS is working on it.

Printing from the Mac side seemed to be fixed. If you have anyone who is having an issue email me the decal # of the computer and what they were trying to print and some brief details about what was attempted.
