The manufacturer of our firewall appliance has recommended the immediate application of a software update in order to address a critical operational issue. This will require a reboot of the firewall resulting in a brief loss of internet connection for the campus. During this time, all academic and administrative buildings will lose access to the internet, including e-mail and Moodle. Off-campus and residence hall access to Moodle and e-mail should be unaffected. Any active VPN sessions will be disconnected and need to be re-established after the update. Campus phone service will be uninterrupted.
The upgrade will take place TODAY, January 24, 2019 at 9:00 PM.
